Committee Responsibilities

• Participates in the meetings of the Conference of International Non-Governmental Organisations (INGOs) and by invitation in Ministerial Conferences and Parliamentary Committees.
• Contributes to the elaboration processes of treaties/conventions with gender-related expertise.
• Promotes relations between the Council of Europe and Zonta International.
• Receives pertinent information regarding activities in the Council of Europe relevant for Zonta International.
• Disseminates this information to the International Board, the UN and the LAA Committees within one month after the information has been received.
• Reports the results from seminars arranged by the Committee to the Board, the UN and LAA Committees within one month after the meeting.
