Zonta Club of Central Tuguegarao hosts first workshop post-pandemic

On 14 March, the officers, committee heads and members of the Zonta Club of Central Tuguegarao, Philippines, joined together for an in-person workshop for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic.

Starting off, the 23 members assessed how the club performed during the first several months of the 2020-2022 biennium. The officers and members took part in the assessment process by employing a technology of participation called the World Café Technology (WCT). They reflected on areas such as big gains, challenges, how to fix those challenges and personal commitments to the success of the club.

After the assessment process, the different committees worked on respective work plans using a unified template to ease consolidation and monitoring. The template focused on areas such as advocating for gender equality, ending gender-based violence and child marriage, expanding access to girls' education, women empowerment and response to COVID-19. A presentation and critiquing of outputs from the different committees followed and the Zontians concluded the day with fun team building activities.
