What Information We Collect

Most data collected by Zonta International/Zonta International Foundation is used only to help Zonta better serve its members and donors. It is our general policy to collect and store only personal information that our members and visitors knowingly provide. We do not request or store sensitive information, such as social security numbers, from our visitors.

General Users: Zonta International/Zonta International Foundation does not collect any personal information from users browsing our website. Users to the public areas of Zonta's website browse anonymously. Only aggregate data such as the number of hits per page is collected. Members & Donors: For access to members-only resources and personalization features on the Zonta International/Zonta International Foundation website, members and other users are asked to register and provide some limited information. Online Membership Networking Directory: Through the online Membership Networking Directory, Zonta makes member contact information available for those members who expressly authorize such information sharing to other members using its website and for those who register for its Convention.


Zonta may incorporate information users provide into hard copies of the Membership Directory that it sells or otherwise disseminates to members.


Consent to Use Personal Information: For the purposes of the Data Protection Act(s) 1984 and 1998 (as applicable), Zonta International/Zonta International Foundation or its agents must store, host and otherwise process the information (including personal data) supplied by the User when registering for this website.
