On International Day of the Girl Child, the Zonta Club of Lagos I, Nigeria gave 1,000 girls the tools, knowledge and encouragement to pursue an education and specialized careers. The Zonta club partnered with the United Nations Information Centre (UNIC), Young Women Christian Association (YWCA), Well Being Foundation Africa (WBFA) and Initiatives for Sustaining Gender Empowerment (ISGEM) for the one-day interactive session.
