Each year, the Zonta Club of Northern Beaches Inc, District 24,  holds an annual fundraising event for International Women's Day.

The breakfast event is supported by local state member the Hon. Rob Stokes. At the event, he also announces the Pittwater Woman of the Year Award. The local area where the Zonta club is located is known as Pittwater and is also his electorate. This year, the Zonta Club of Northern Beaches Inc was nominated and won the award.

Members were very proud to receive the award in front of over 200 community guests. The award was accepted by Club President Bernardine Guy on behalf of all members. Normally, a bunch of flowers is presented. However, this year, each member present at the event received a yellow rose in honor of Zonta.

The following day, President Bernardine Guy and Director/SOW Chair Margaret White attended a breakfast held by New South Wales State Premier Gladys Berejiklian in recognition of all winners at the New South Wales Women of the Year Awards. Members were very proud to be representing Zonta as a part of this wonderful presentation.
