Update on District 11 Zontians affected by Hurricane Irma
District 11 Governor Charlene Rains is checking in with all club presidents in the areas affected by Hurricane Irma. The hardest hit areas with Zonta clubs are the British Virgin Islands and the Florida Keys. Most other areas had minimal damage but are still dealing with power outages and shortages of food, water and gasoline.

The president of the Zonta Club of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands informed Governor Charlene that all club members are safe following Hurricane Irma, although all were affected in one way or another given the devastating destruction across the British Virgin Islands. We also know that Zonta members in the Florida Keys have experienced widespread destruction and at least one member lost her home.

Our members and all those affected by recent natural disasters remain in our thoughts. We will continue to update you as we hear from the other Zonta clubs in District 11.
