Zonta helps reach 100,000 adolescents with Rwanda project

In cooperation with the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, Zonta International has supported efforts to eliminate mother-to-child transmission of HIV and gender-based violence in Rwanda since 2008.

Rwanda is one of the few countries in Africa which met almost all of the Millennium Development Goals, including those goals related to improved child survival. U.S. Fund for UNICEF and Zonta are building upon this national progress, with a focus on reducing the prevalence of HIV/AIDS and gender-based violence.
