Zonta International releases statement on Hurricane Maria and other natural disasters affecting Zontians

Natural disasters continue to wreak havoc in many parts of the Zonta world. Our thoughts are with our Zonta club members in Guadeloupe and Puerto Rico in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. Residents are experiencing catastrophic flooding, loss of power and damage to homes and businesses.  At this time, we do know that all our members in Guadeloupe are safe and accounted for. We will continue to update you as we learn more.

In the meantime, please continue to keep all those affected by the recent hurricanes, earthquakes, flooding and fires in your thoughts.

The composite image, obtained from NASA, shows Hurricane Maria as it was making landfall near Yabucoa on 20 September.
