Celebrating Our Centennial Anniversary

8 November is a very special day for us: 100 years back, Zonta was founded in Buffalo, New York, by courageous women who set out to work for gender equality and a better world. They had a profession, but not yet the right to elect their nation's government.

What has been achieved since then is enormous: Zonta is active in 63 countries and has empowered countless women. The women's movement has seen remarkable successes in many countries. Looking forward: We still have the vision of gender equality, but we share it with more women and with more men than ever before. We are firmly committed to continue our work.
