Meet the trailblazing JMK Women in Business Scholars

For more than two decades, Zonta International has proudly supported women pursuing careers in business through the Jane M. Klausman (JMK) Women in Business Scholarship. Named in honor of Jane M. Klausman, a dedicated Zonta Club of Syracuse, New York member and 1990-1995 Zonta International Parliamentarian, the scholarship aimed to empower women to excel in business management and leadership.

Since the program's inception in 1998, Zonta International has awarded 786 scholarships, totaling US$2,230,400, to 632 women from 75 countries. These scholars have gone on to make significant contributions in business, finance, entrepreneurship and leadership roles worldwide.
