Jurgita Šukevičienė is a Lithuanian politician and has been a member of the Seimas (Lithuanian Parliament) since November 2024. She represents the Alytaus electoral constituency and was nominated by the Lithuanian Social Democratic Party, which appointed her as deputy chair of the party's political group in the Seimas. Jurgita is also chair of the education and science committee, an active member of the European affairs committee, a former member of the foreign affairs committee, chair of the group for inter-parliamentary relations with France and co-chair of the group with Canada.
As a lifelong learner, Jurgita understands that not all solutions are as simple as you would like and that sometimes the best answers are found within the balance of change.
