Zonta Club of Pampanga begins biennium with service and new member welcome
Jail outreach program
To mark the new biennium, the Zonta Club of Pampanga, Philippines, conducted "Babae Ka: Dignity, Hope and a New Beginning" at the Angeles District Jail Female Dormitory (BJMP 174), providing support and encouragement to women deprived of liberty.
The outreach included an inspirational presentation by club member Attorney Angeli Andan titled "A Second Chance: Hope, Healing and Empowerment," along with a feeding program and the distribution of hygiene kits. Through the initiative, the club reaffirmed its commitment to promoting dignity, hope and opportunities for women to rebuild their lives through compassion, service and advocacy.
The club expressed gratitude to the members and supporters whose time, resources and dedication helped make the project possible.
Welcoming new members and beginning the new biennium
The Zonta Club of Pampanga launched the 2026-2028 biennium with a planning meeting, a Zontianization session and a welcome for new members.
During the gathering, members reviewed priorities for the biennium, strengthened their commitment to Zonta's mission and welcomed new members to the club. The event highlighted the importance of leadership, service and collaboration as members prepare to continue advancing opportunities for women and girls in their community.
