While several thousand local citizens and visitors enjoyed a community-wide pancake breakfast in Cheyenne, Wyoming (hosted by the local Kiwanis Club), members of the Zonta Club of Cheyenne were busy raising awareness about human trafficking and domestic violence.
The Zonta Club of Cheyenne had a booth at the event, from which it distributed webcam covers with the human trafficking hotline contact information, brochures about human trafficking and domestic violence and information about the work Zonta is doing to end these horrible crimes. Joining us in raising awareness of these matters were several exuberant youth who were excited to get their feet wet in the issues of Zonta, as work is underway to re-establish a Z Club in the community.
