Zonta Club of Kathmandu donates oxygen concentrators during Nepal’s worst pandemic crisis

Nepal is going through its worst pandemic crisis with an acute shortage of oxygen, meaning many lives have been lost. In spite of the country’s lockdown, the Zonta Club of Kathmandu successfully geared up to help the community in these critical times.

With the mission of working towards the betterment of women and girls, the club donated four oxygen concentrators to a local maternity hospital where women and children were in dire need of oxygen. The head of the hospital’s COVID-19 wing, Dr. Subedi, greatly appreciated the club’s support in this urgent time. The club’s work was also covered in most of the print and online media of the country.
