Three years ago, the Zonta Foothills Club of Boulder Co, USA, launched the Flatirons Golden Z Club Education Fund to help members of their college leadership club complete a college education. This fund is available to members of the Flatirons Golden Z Club who are attending a college or professional school and need support for books, internships, testing, transportation or other education-related expenses. The fund also provides mentorship, leadership training, and opportunities for advocacy and service to women in the community.
The club is proud to announce this year's Golden Z Club graduates, many of whom have been the beneficiaries of the Education Fund and have been part of the club’s sisterhood since they were members of the Boulder High School PantherZ Z Club. The PantherZ Z Club and Flatirons Golden Z Club help young women become leaders and powerful voices in the community. Many members are first generation students and most of them have remained proud Zonta members after college graduation.
Through the fund, the club has found the community to be very responsive to campaigns that change women's lives through education.
