Zonta Club of Dhaka IV launches two new initiatives

As the newly-elected president of the Zonta Club of Dhaka IV, Bangladesh, Hamida Jasmin dreams of building a future of gender equality, but she knows that there is still much work to be done. To get one step closer to her dream,  she leads her club to launch two new initiatives, the Caregiver Project and the Digital Literacy Program (DLP).

The Caregiver Project is a free training program where trainees can learn how to look after the elderly and those with disabilities. On the other hand, the DLP targets young, underprivileged girls to provide them with computer-aided education. The club knows that by educating girls, we empower them to have a steady career and a better future. After approval from the board, the club plans to undertake many more projects soon.
