Zonta Club of Kalmar uses fashion to build a better world for women and girls

The Zonta Club of Kalmar, Sweden, dared to rent the Kalmar hall and organized an evening with the theme: "With fashion and flair for a safer world."

This sold-out fashion show had more than 800 attendees. The club spoke about Zonta, offering dance, music and a fashion show. The shops in town brought their clothes, local celebrities posed as mannequins, club members collaborated with high schools who styled those on stage, other students danced, and a couple of classes had designed posters with some of Zonta's cause.

The club raised more than US$12,000, which will go towards the club's service projects.
