The Zonta Club of Makati and Envirti's board member, Marcy Kohchet-Chua, hosted the event. Some of the awardees were:

  • Armita Rufinao was a former president of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP).
  • Joanne Andrada was UNESCO's former commissioner of culture and ambassador.
  • Nida Vera is a former ambassador of the Philippines to the Vatican.

During the celebration, Past International President Olivia Ferry spoke about the importance of the Zonta Foundation for Women and encouraged all clubs and members to support and donate. Many prominent Zontians attended the event, including District Governor Ofelia "Lia" Bautista, who gave an inspirational speech.
