Zonta e-Club of Latvia's first year of activity

The Zonta e-Club of Latvia marked its first year of service by celebrating a year of growth, collaboration and advocacy while looking ahead to expanding its impact and welcoming new members.

During its inaugural year, the club brought together members from across Latvia through educational programs, networking opportunities and initiatives that advance Zonta International's mission of promoting women's rights, gender equality and public awareness.

A key focus of the club's first year was sustainability and climate justice. Members organized environmental cleanup activities, led digital awareness campaigns and participated in international Zonta initiatives. The club's efforts in climate action and sustainability also received international recognition.

To inspire women across Latvia, members published a book featuring personal stories of resilience, leadership and determination, highlighting experiences of overcoming challenges, creating opportunities and empowering others.

The club also promoted Zonta International scholarships, leadership opportunities and international programs while strengthening partnerships with other Zonta clubs in Latvia and across Europe.

During its first year, the club established two youth clubs: the Amber Land Golden Z Club for university students and the Amber Way Z Club of Latvia for school students. Through mentorship, members support young people in developing leadership skills and implementing projects that reflect Zonta's mission and values.

As it begins its second year, the Zonta e-Club of Latvia remains committed to strengthening women's leadership, expanding opportunities for women and girls and continuing to build a connected community dedicated to positive change.
