So, what has happened? … And what are we doing next?

2020
  • Established a Board working group.
  • Engaged an external advisor to facilitate a PESTLE (political, economic, social, technological, legal, and environmental) analysis and provide constructive input into the working group.
  • Created terms of reference and identified four key focus areas for the 2020-2022 Biennium: strategy, governance, membership and advocacy.
2021
  • Distributed a pulse survey to all members in April 2021.
  • Conducted a series of focus groups with governors, club presidents, past international presidents and Headquarters staff in October 2021.
2022-2023
  • Issued an Executive Summary in March 2022 Club Mailing.
  • Published a full report in April 2022.
  • Hosted a webinar for all members on 26 April 2022.
  • Presented a workshop at the Zonta International Convention in Hamburg, Germany on 25 June 2022.
  • Resolution 2 working group is conducting research on the topics of international service projects, fundraising and awards and scholarships.
  • Survey sent to members and key stakeholders in October 2022.
  • ZI Board met in January 2023 and received a consolidated report of all data sources from the investigative journey (survey, focus groups, membership statistics, program statistics, external trends, financial projections, etc.) and created a draft strategic plan.
  • Survey results made available to members with informational webinar in February 2023.
  • Report of the information gathered from the Resolution 2 working group made available to members June 2023.
  • Published and informed members of the release of Zonta, Gender Equity, and a Vision for 2023 & Beyond - Zonta International's Strategic Plan Goals and Strategies 2023-2030.
  •  ZI Board further develops the vision and investigates, determines and prioritizes strategies and tactics to take the organization forward.
