A Zonta Journey

The Zonta Club of Isabela, Philippines, and the Golden Z Club hosted a two-part event, “Empowered to Serve – United in Commitment: A Zonta Journey,” on 17 August, at Balay na Santiago in Barangay Calao West.

The first segment, titled Hug in a Tote, was organized by the Golden Z Club of Northeastern College. The service project provided tote bags filled with essential items to women and children in the community as a gesture of solidarity and care. The initiative reflected the club's mission to empower and uplift women and children by offering practical support that makes a tangible difference.

The second part of the event focused on orientation and re-orientation sessions for members. New members were formally welcomed while existing members reaffirmed their commitment to Zonta’s mission. The sessions emphasized the importance of a shared vision and collective action in advancing service and advocacy.

As part of the program, Certificates of Appreciation were presented to Councilor Russel Ponce and Vice Mayor Jamayne Tan, a fellow Zontian, in recognition of their invaluable support. Their contributions were cited as instrumental to the success of the project and a model of partnership that strengthens community impact.

The day also highlighted the enduring bond between the Zonta Club of Isabela and the Golden Z Club. Members celebrated sisterhood and camaraderie, reinforcing the inspiration and unity that fuel their work to empower women and children.
