Zonta Club of Cebu I empowers communities in the wake of Typhoon Tino

The Zonta Club of Cebu I, Philippines, in partnership with the Women Organization of Lipata and the People of San Jose, carried out a relief mission to support families affected by Typhoon Tino in Barangay Lawaan 3 and nearby evacuation centers.

The storm left many residents without homes and their sense of stability. Volunteers distributed relief goods, hygiene kits, clothing, mattresses and communal kitchen sets with cookware, items essential to restoring comfort and nourishment as families begin rebuilding their lives.

The initiative, led by Club President Melita Ramos, Past Area Director Tess Chan and fellow Zontians, reached nearly 100 families, or about 400 individuals.
