Zonta Club of Laguna runs six successful school supplies drives

The Zonta Club of Laguna, Philippines, held a series of six School Supplies Drives held across Biñan and San Pedro Cities. These initiatives benefited a total of 350 public school students, bringing easier access to education.

The first run of the program launched with a heartfelt distribution of school supplies to 100 students at Malabanan East Elementary School in Biñan City. The initiative aimed to uplift young learners by equipping them with essential educational tools, ensuring they begin the academic year with confidence. The club emphasized access to school materials is crucial for every child's academic success.

Continuing its outreach, the second drive supported 50 students at Pedro Escueta Memorial Elementary School Biñan City. With a focus on sustainability and impact, the club reiterated education’s role as a powerful equalizer, highlighting how even small interventions—like a school bag or notebook—can bridge opportunity gaps for underprivileged children.

The third installment took place in San Pedro City, where 50 more students from Cuyab Elementary School received school supplies. This initiative further emphasized the club's belief that no child should be hindered from learning due to a lack of basic resources. The club views each distribution not just as assistance, but as an investment in the future of the youth.

The fourth distribution at San Vicente Elementary School in San Pedro City again served 50 students, reinforcing the club’s ongoing efforts to make quality education more accessible. Laguna club members handed out bags, notebooks and writing tools while reaffirming their commitment to support future stewards of equality and progress.

In its fifth run, Zonta reached out to 50 students from Landayan Elementary School. The club highlighted that empowering children with the tools for learning goes beyond charity—it plants seeds of resilience, growth and hope for the future.

The latest drive brought the same message of hope and empowerment to 50 students at Magsaysay Elementary School. This event rounded out the club’s multi-phase educational support program, showcasing a model for community-based empowerment through access to basic but critical learning tools.

Throughout all six runs, the Zonta Club of Laguna has remained steadfast in its belief that education is the cornerstone of empowerment.
