Extraordinary women film event: A presentation of short films by students at Sarah Lawrence College

The Zonta Club of New Rochelle, USA, hosted an evening of film screenings featuring six students from the Sarah Lawrence College Filmmaking and Moving-Image Arts program.

Each student filmmaker presented a short film and discussed the themes of their work, offering insight into their creative processes and storytelling approaches.

Organizers noted that women create fewer than 3% of films shown in the United States, and the club is proud to have showcased films by women for ten years now.

The club also recognized Brian Emery, technical director of the Filmmaking and Moving-Image Arts program, for his support in making the event possible.
