Zonta Club of Central Tuguegarao celebrates United Nation Day

On 24 October 2021, the Zonta Club of Central Tuguegarao celebrated United Nations Day. The theme this year is Building Back Together for Peace and Prosperity. In honor of the theme, the club reminisced the pre-COVID-19 times where travel, meeting new people and learning about new cultures were immersive. 

The club also looked back on physical human interactions such as shaking hands, hugs and kisses and the traditional mano po, the gesture of touching the back of the hand of an elder lightly on one's forehead. 

The club looks forward to traveling to exotic locations and resuming physical interactions with one another soon. Until then, they hope to rebuild and work with the international community towards peace and prosperity.
