Zonta Club of Ilocos Norte empowers their community through multiple services and advocacies 

The Zonta Club of Ilocos Norte, Philippines, initiated multiple club actions to empower those in their community. Scroll down to see how the club is creating a better world for their community!


The club presented a plaque as a grateful acknowledgement and support for local learners, teachers and education leaders.


This biennium, the club is continuing its monthly free medical, legal, psychological and dental services to their local constituents.


The club worked with the Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center to provide free cervical screenings.


The club made an appearance in a local live radio program with the Ilocos Norte National High School Z Club to talk about how to developing leadership qualities.


The club attended Area 4's installation ceremony as a sign of support for fellow Zontians.


The club hosted a blood drive to help local hospitals replenish their blood banks.


On September 15, the club had its first face-to-face post-pandemic forum at Saint Andrew Academy. Led by Club President Mitzie delos Santos, the forum discussed what the club is all about and shared its knowledge on Zonta. 
The forum also discussed
different topics such as overcoming pandemic re-entry anxieties, gender equality and the Magna Carta of women. Each topic was led by a different club member. Area 4 Director Ana Ventura-Remigio concluded the event with a closing statement.


The club held a formal ceremony to recognize its officers and board members, and also to welcome its newly initiated members.
